After successfully building Countermeasure Consulting Group into an internationally recognized active shooter and violence prevention organization, our team began to focus on the security needs of churches in this era of unchecked terror. A year ago I created a 35 minute training video entitled "Your Church: The Softest Target in America". This work has been widely received as a foundation for beginning the process of making churches safer without building walls. Our team has considered the requirements of churches from the inside out. We've examined the security goals of churches in a different light as churches are open and invite those from all walks of life to attend and participate. From private outlets like Fox News to radio ministries like Moody Broadcasting in Chicago, Safe Church Training is the "Go To" source for expert commentary regarding church security. I receive numerous inquires weekly seeking assistance and direction. A little over a year and a half ago I created and trained a dedicated security team of individuals at my home church. Since then I've been traveling the country consulting and building church security teams and protocols.

Where to begin? Countermeasure Consulting Group in partnership with the Community Bankers Webinar Network has just released an Active Shooter webinar tailored the requirements of financial institutions across the United States. At this time we're in the final production stage of a new webinar designed to meet the needs of churches desiring to beef up their security posture in light of all the violence boiling over in 2016. Countermeasure is working with three churches right now to increase awareness and security protocols among the staff and volunteers as well as building in-house security teams. The Countermeasure team spent 14 days in Sweden working with Schibsted Media Group to assess their current security posture and train their 1500 employees on what to do in the event of an act of terrorism.
