I have large scale enterprise infrastructure experience from working in some of the world’s cutting edge IT companies. I have worked for IBM (Global Support), WaMu (Washington Mutual), Microsoft (Passport & MMS), Kindred Healthcare (Corporate Data Center) and the Walt Disney Internet Group just to name a few Fortune 500 companies I that I have worked with as a Systems Engineer / Consultant Some of my professional experiences include designing and deploying a secure 5 domain Active Directory forest and integrating the forest with 4 other AD forests across 5 data centers throughout the US. I then migrated all the Walt Disney Internet group properties to the new PCI compliant “secure” Active Directory forest. Other WDIG achievements include assisting in the design and deployment of critical DisneyMobile.com (MVNO) backend component services that were critical for the launch of the global MVNO service. I also helped launch a new Microsoft property MMS (Microsoft Managed Solutions) where I was part of a small “Tier III Ops” team that designed, deployed and managed “in-house” large scale Active Directory backend solutions for global corporations.Another position I had the honor of being a part of was Microsoft MSN passport. There I provided Tier III secure operations support (SecOpsIE) for MSN Passport (Windows Live ID). I worked incident response for 700+ load balanced IIS servers that provided login and SSL authentication for the primary MSN authentication portal for all Microsoft properties. Systems Engineer IiiPremera Systems Jul 2013 - PresentI work as a Systems Engineer designing and deploying complex business systems and infrastructure related applications and processes to the Premera Enterprise.My current work responsibilities include defining Windows Server standards, troubleshooting high level operational issues for Windows Servers to include load balancing and clustering, connections to alternate datacenters, performance and optimization. Additional responsibilities are to define server lifecycles, end of Life as well as planned retirement and migration cycles. Assisting in script driven virtual and physical server Windows based operating systems to multiple datacenters and operating environments. I am currently working on automating deploying Server 2016 to our new datacenter as well as with external vendors and a small Premera IT team to facilitate deploying operating systems from Cisco’s Cloud Center (C3). For me this involves defining the deployment processes and requirements for the Windows O/S, defining the custom branding requirements of these servers, as well as assisting in the automation scripting for Server 2016 GUI and Core, Server 2012, then on to Server 2019.Other tasks included but not limited to defining software, hardware, business application process’s and disaster recovery standards, operations requirements, upkeep/maintenance as well as decommission / environmental planned obsolescence. For the 1st half I participated in the deployment and later supported Disney Mobile (disneymobile.com / MVNO) later for the second half of my contract I was asked to design and deploy a secure 5 domain AD forest for PCI compliance. I was also responsible for inter-domain connectivity to all existing WDIG domains. Finally I coordinated migration of all Disney online website to the new compliant forest. The contract was completed successfully. -
