Overseeing and managing relations with governments, diplomats and international institutions to help and assist Al Jazeera Media Network’s operations.

Facilitating corporate relations between Al Jazeera Media Network and international institutions as well as helping establish relations with Diplomatic missions and Governments around the world.

I worked on the preparation and organisation of the Al Jazeera Seventh Annual Forum. My role includes communicating with VIPs, Ministers and diplomats.

As a journalist working in a middle eastern focused organisation covering, Palestine/Israel, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan I was assigned different research and journalistic topics relating to the latest political and social developments in this part of the Arab World as well as covering the Arab revolutions for our online news website. Some of the research I carried out individually while others were as part of a research team. The main focus of my current role is the revolutions of Egypt and Libya and their impact on the Syrian political future and the Syrian revolution.I am also contributing to the news gathering and following up correspondents for our Arabic news website www.levantnews.com, as well as contacting eyewitnesses in Syria to report on the latest development in different cities.

Drawing up development strategies for the institute, proposing projects, workshops and conferences to discuss and debate Middle Eastern current affairs. Responsible for finding new funding ventures for new projects.

As a research I was assigned different research topics to work on individually and as part of a research team. My mainly research topics were related to Syrian, British and European politics. Through my research I have managed to build a network that can be utilised for different future researches or journalistic work.I have also contributed to the news gathering and following up correspondents for our Arabic news website www.levantnews.com.

As a translator I have worked with AFDC translating their training materials in the fields of Human Rights, Citizenship, Women and Children’s rights from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic. I have also translated many reports for AFDC on their conferences and workshops for online publishing and donor organisation.
