Environmental Analyst at JBA consulting working on flood risk assessments, hydrology and GIS analysis. I have worked on a number of county wide strategic flood risk assessments that included analysis and processing of large datasets within QGIS and ArcGIS.Past research involves using machine learning techniques for classification and forecasting of remotely sensed data. I am a graduate of the Masters in Simulation Science at University College Dublin. This course also included three months of research on the topic of nonlinear dynamics and control of nonlinear systems with analysis and modeling using MATLAB. I worked as an intern at the Marine Institute where I was working along side the Chemistry team of the Marine Environment and Food Safety service area. I was working with the team to improve the efficiency of the processes and improve data quality and data flows. Main study and work interests include engineering, mathematical modelling, physical systems modelling, scientific computing, numerical modelling, mathematical physics, geophysics, hydrology, oceanography and remote sensing. I have an active interest in the environment, climate change, science, physics, and open source electronics and technology.
