During my experience of shadowing at ByDesign with Elizabeth Young, I have visited residential projects to discuss current design proposals with the designer, clients, and contractors. I document the stages of each project and discuss how to work through on-site design problems that occur during a renovation project. Additionally, I collaborated with Elizabeth Young to host design and career seminars for the James Madison University ASID student chapter. Currently, I am auditing an interior design course taught by Elizabeth Young for the public that focuses on floor plan development and material selections.

During my time at Marriott, I worked with the Breakfast Dining Team to coordinate the weekend breakfast set-up and breakdown for guests and the reserved conference rooms. I performed as the main communication contact on weekends for the dining area to greet the guest and assure that their visit was achieving expectations, while introducing them to activities in the community during their visits. Additionally, I work with the chef and other breakfast attendants to maintain stock during service hours and project the needs of each weekly shipment. While working, I trained in other disciplines of hospitality and received nomination for employee of the month.

While shadowing the Principal Designer, Charles Hendricks, I participated in site meetings with the contractors and clients. Additionally, I documented the progress of each commercial and residential project. Specifically, I shadowed during the construction of the Dairy Queen development and James Madison University Studio Center renovation.

During my time with Pier 1 Imports, I worked as a sales associate to communicate merchandise and sales knowledge for customers in order to assist them with a successful purchase. I collaborated monthly with my design team to create visually appealing floor sets during merchandise transitions. During my daily shifts, I managed merchandise shipments and followed cashier duties ad I processed each purchase for the buyers.

During my experience with the Center for Multicultural Student Services, I became the first point of contact to greet the students, faculty, and visitors of the center and educate them on our services. I assisted with preparation for the annual events; including the Stepshow, Martin Luther King Ceremony and the student culture outreach on campus and traveling programs. I also was entrusted to document private information of participants from founding to current dates for the department's records.

During my experience with American Eagle Outfitters, I worked as a Sales Associate to greet and assist customers with their purchases. I trained with the District Sales Leader to specialize with fitting room sales and customer assistance for finding merchandise. Additionally, I assisted with floor set transitions to organize promotions and merchandise.

While working at Upward Bound, I served as a Student Residential Advisor Counselor for high school participants for the 24/7 position.It was my duty to be a liaison between students and their families and communicate personal goals for each participant. While mentoring, I conducted daily check-ins and served as a confidential resource for each student. Additionally, I programmed and facilitated student activities for group interaction during student free time. In addition to my mentor position, I planned and operated the Final Student Celebration for the entire summer program.

During my experience as the Diet Coke Campus Representative, I received recognition for being in the top ten national finalist for campus social media involvement during the "You're On"​ Campaign. As a representative, I worked collaborated with a campus team and MRY to develop and carry out strategies to increase campus and social media involvement. Personally, I hosted public and private promotional events to advertise merchandise. I also developed individual initiative programs for students that agreed to participate.

During my experience with Days Inn, I worked in the front desk, breakfast attendant, and housekeeping positions. At Front desk, I served as a first point of contact to greet guests. I also was in charge of conducting and closing our reservations made in person or online. As a Breakfast Attendant, it was my responsibility to prepare and maintain the dining facility. I also managed stock inventory for weekly sales orders. As a housekeeper, I assisted with room restoration for upcoming guest and managed daily duties in the laundry facility.

During my experience at TJ Maxx, I served as a cashier to conduct company procedures during merchandise check-out. I focused as a fitting room assistant to assist customers with merchandise and store policies. I also worked to process and maintain merchandise.
