Hi, I am Byron Hampton, an accomplished photographer with over 12 years of experience in capturing exceptional moments through my lens. My passion for storytelling through photography has driven me to master both the artistic and technical aspects of the craft, allowing me to deliver high-quality visuals for every client.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on IT, Engineering, and Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I have also earned photography certifications from Montgomery College, and a Certificate in Information Technology from Georgetown University. My educational background has provided me with a solid foundation in both creative design and technology, allowing me to approach photography with a unique perspective.Since 2019, I have been running Byron Hampton Photography, based in Germantown, MD. I specialize in event and portrait photography, collaborating closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver images that exceed their expectations. I am highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canon EOS 5DS R, and large format printing, which enable me to ensure each image is perfectly edited and presented. My work has taken me to a variety of settings, from weddings and corporate events to on-location shoots and studio sessions.Prior to running my own business, I spent over five years as a Church Event Photographer for The Heart Church Ministries in Suitland, MD, where I honed my skills in photographing unique events and portraits. I am well-versed in managing all aspects of the photography process, from pre-shoot planning to post-shoot editing and image archiving.With a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of photography principles, and a commitment to client satisfaction, I am passionate about creating memorable visuals that tell a story. Whether it is capturing candid moments or crafting the perfect portrait, I bring dedication, creativity, and technical expertise to every project.
