Provide timely, strategically relevant, and accurate information for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to furnish best military advice to the President of the United States (POTUS), National Security Council, and Secretary of Defense as it pertains to the implementation of the National Military Strategy. Manages the Chairman's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) for ongoing crises, worldwide events, and current operations. Serves as the first point of contact on the Joint Staff for Combatant Commands, Military Services, Defense Agencies, and NATO Commanders for requests for information and operational matters.

Responsible to the CJCS for all matters regarding CCMDs' SAP and STO CONPLANs, OPLANs, current operations, policy, and doctrine; provides strategic direction to CCMD STO Chiefs and SAP subject matter experts for creating and implementing OPLAN and CONPLAN Annex S (STO); directly supports POTUS, SECDEF, CJCS, and CCDRs in strategy, command, control, and execution of STO initiatives and operations; integrates CCMD, Interagency, and Services' classified and sensitive activities (to include SAPs) into Joint operations, planning, training, and exercises; presents CCMD, Interagency, and Service equities for SAP employment directly to the SECDEF and CJCS for decision; authors and staffs SECDEF/POTUS approved CJCS STO execute orders, policy, guidance, and planning/strategy documents; advocates for CENTCOM and SOCOM within DoD, Interagency, and the Services to provide direct support to UCP assigned missions.

Responsible for a Strategic Signal Battalion consisting of two operational-based signal companies that make up the regional Network Enterprise Center (NEC) with ADCON/OPCON of one Joint Area Signal Company providing communications and information systems support to the Alaska Command, United States Army Alaska (USARAK), U.S. Army Garrison Alaska and the Missile Defense Agency across three geographically separated installations. Executes all policies, standards, architectures, programs, plans and budget for Mission Command services. Oversees more than $120M in property and equipment, operates a $13M budget and ensures training, mission readiness, and the overall well-being of a blended military and civilian workforce who provide, protect, and defend the Pacific LandWarNet connectivity with premier capabilities and services to the warfighter. Additionally, executes duties as the USARAK G6 with one Airborne IBCT, one Stryker BCT, and one support Brigade.

Plan, implement, and supervise Command, Control, Computers, Communication, and Information (C4I) systems, telecommunication devices, the Local Area Network, Video Teleconferencing, and Tier 2 helpdesk support. Advise senior leaders on communication security impacts across all network enclaves. Synchronize VTC and network communication efforts across all U.S. Army units in Korea while establishing, managing, and assessing the effectiveness of the organization's information assurance program.

Managed the Army’s capability development portfolios of Mission Command (networks, information security, and cyber operations), Unmanned Ground Systems (Robotics), Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Force Protection (Military Police, Explosive Ordinance Disposal, and Base Defense) programs in excess of $67B; led stakeholder efforts to develop prioritization of investment for development to address current and future capability gaps while ensuring all managed portfolios remained aligned with national, defense, and Army strategies.

Planned, executed, and maintained the installation of voice and data communications for a combat aviation brigade that operated in north, west, and south Afghanistan; developed and implemented communication and cyber security plans for all VHF, UHF, HF, satellite, and network devices for base and aviation operations; coordinated interoperability and security of multinational communications on Camp Marmal with the Czech, German, and French militaries; oversaw helpdesk operations for a brigade staff of 200 personnel; mentored 8 signal leaders in communication and cyber operations.

Led and managed a battalion headquarters staff consisting of 54 Soldiers and DA Civilians for administration, recruiting operations, advertising, market share analysis, school interaction, and logistics; acted as Army representative on the Ohio state school board as a non-voting member and the Ohio chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) as a non-voting member; provided oversight for recruiting operations to ensure adherence to the Army’s recruiting standards.

Assisted in developing, implementing, and executing training plans for the NATO participating countries to include France, Germany, Britain, Turkey, Armenia, Spain, and Italy; instructed foreign militaries on standards, execution, interoperability, and network security of multilateral voice and data communications.

Documented and managed the configuration for all NATO owned network devices, end user equipment, and software licensing in Afghanistan; managed the configuration management process for new requirements to ensure alignment with budgeting, security, and interoperability requirements.

Monitored the Wide Area Network throughout Iraq, to include commercial and tactical satellite, SHF, UHF, and Fiber Optic links, while coordinating reparation efforts between civilian, government, military, and international agencies to minimize communication outages to the customer; advised the Commanding General and his staff on the impacts of outages to military and diplomatic operations, while implementing alternative means of communications, to include FM and satellite communications.

Planned and managed the installation, operation, and maintenance of deployable mobile subscriber equipment that provides tactical voice and data communications in austere environments; oversaw the communications and data security for network and user level devices; supervised the daily operational activities of 142 communications, administrative, maintenance, and logistics personnel in Germany and Iraq; developed, implemented, and evaluated the logistical, maintenance, and training plans while in garrison, exercise, and operational environments in Germany and nine remote locations in Iraq.

Managed an annual budget of $750,000 distributed across five separate companies; planned and executed the movement of more than $150 million worth of vehicles and equipment from Germany to Kuwait in the advent of Operation Iraqi Freedom; developed and executed plans to provide supplies and life support to more than 525 personnel during combat operations in Iraq

Supervised the maintenance of $31 million worth of tactical vehicles, generators, and communications assemblages

Developed, implemented, and evaluated training plans on voice and data communications systems for a unit consisting of 750 personnel, ground combat vehicles, and scout aviation assets; planned, installed, and maintained fifteen local area networks while providing oversight for information security for all systems; led thirteen personnel in troubleshooting and maintenance of automated data systems, tactical communications systems, and secure/non-secure voice and data networks.

Led 26 Soldiers in providing FM, voice, and data communications during exercises and operations, while managing the distribution of classified security keys for all communications assemblages; provided troubleshooting and maintenance of automated data systems, tactical communication systems, and tactical antennae systems while in static and operational environments.

Developed, engineered, and managed the modernization of electrical, software, and hardware for a fleet of aged direct current locomotives to modern alternating current locomotive standards to include air brake control systems, software interface, and complete internal rewiring; developed and maintained software used by field engineers to facilitate efficient subject matter expert solutions to fleet maintenance issues across the globe; assisted in the management and distribution of Software Field Modifications to field engineers.
