I am a trusted advisor and leader with a rare combination of experience across biotech, pharma, and tech, and at their convergence. I have extensive experience that includes leading, negotiating, and executing high impact transactions (including partnering, collaborations, licensing, and M&A), developing IP strategies, and managing complex litigation. I have strong grounding across a broad range of platforms and technologies and their associated deal structures and other dimensions, including drug modalities (e.g., ASOs), tools (e.g. CRISPR), and computational paradigms (e.g. AI/ML). During my career I have acted in a broad range of roles on over 25 M&A transactions (as lead deal counsel and as lead IP counsel), across all dimensions of the M&A process, including deal structuring, due diligence, signing, closing, integration activities, and post-closing dispute/litigation scenarios. My experience has been consistently anchored on optimizing lifecycle, portfolio, and overall corporate strategy. I studied biochemistry and worked in research at an early-stage biotech company before law school. I started my legal career at a top tier law firm and IP practice, where I represented leading pharma, biotech, and tech clients in patent, IP, and transactional matters. I have since held key in-house roles at prominent biotech and biopharma companies, including Roche.
