I am a quantitative social research specialist with a deep-seated interest in behavioral contagion, networked decision-making, and how social actors process information in rapidly evolving political systems. These interests, combined with a passion for quantitative and simulation-based research, led me to my current position as a PhD Candidate at the Ohio State Department of Political Science. I have had the opportunity to apply these interests to a diverse set of political phenomena, including rebel group financing, civil war negotiation behavior, cross-ethnic cooperation, migration decision-making, and genocide participation. I also have substantial national and international research experience, including independent project management, data collection, resource development and budgeting, research team management, and local-partnership building in the U.S., Eastern Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa.Prior to my work in social science, I was employed at a tech startup in a role that combined user acquisition, UX product testing, product management support, and online community development. I am always interested in new applications of my behavioral and social interests, opportunities for quantitative and mixed methods research, ethnographic data collection and analysis, and domestic and international collaboration.
