My background is broad and crosses many technical barriers. I gained a strong business leadership background in General Electric Company.I have been an executive of 5 or more companies. I was a VP of Siemens Energy and Automation Services and started their large project engineering and installation group. After five years of service with the USAF where I had been teaching Electrical power generation I started my career with GE. This spanned 17 years. I held a broad range of positions traversing several businesses. These included Management of Customer Service for both the DC Motor division and Speed Variator drives in both AC and DC segments. I was an Administrator of Service in the Field Engineering group and earned business acumen building High Voltage breakers for a group of Nuclear plants and their 345KV ring in the New England area. I had the privilege of starting GE'sr Large Projects Operation building turn key substations in the US. Latter I had the privilege of starting a similar organization for Siemens Energy and automation Services. I was a President of Z-axis International a manufacturer of biotechnology equipment and products that included media for DNA research, scanners and other apparatus for protein and biological organisms profiling. I was also the President of a Mega yacht services Company and Marine Environmental Partners Inc. Here, we designed and built waste water treatment systems for cruise ships and ballast treatment systems for these and other vessels. Specialties: Strong project organizer and leader. I can work with a vision that allows me to see the whole picture and get all the pieces into place. I work well in a team and find relationships to be one of my strongest assets.I would like to work on the Corporate boards of some technically oriented start ups, where my experience wearing many hats, could be valuable. I can add a lot to help insure success either in establishing QC programs, defining new markets, etc.
