A field based role carrying out sampling activities according to Kingfisher Environmental Services work instructions around the South of the UK including but not limited to:- Management of bacterial sampling for UKAS analysis- Clean and Chlorination of CWS tank and associated down services / Sanosil- Descale and Disinfection of Shower heads and hoses- Swimming Pool / Spa servicing visits- Temperature Monitoring of domestic water systems- Storage capacity testing of domestic water storage tanks- Domestic storage tank inspections- Domestic Log book inspection- Calorifier drain flush- Closed heating or chilled system service visits and dosing- Bacterial and Disinfectant sampling of swimming pools and spas- General bacterial sampling of domestic water systems- Legionella sampling of domestic water systems- Bacterial sampling of closed systems- Health and safety risk assesments and Legionella awareness- Legionella risk assessor

• Responsible for the day to day running of Calne Leisure Centre on my specific shift.• Ensuring all health & safety guidelines are followed and up to date as per the Health & Safety at Work Act and the NOP & EAP procedures are followed by all staff.• Leading by example to ensure that all staff and public are calm and move efficiently in emergency situations.• Making sure all areas of the building are ready & secure for opening/closing.• Cash handling for opening the till and banking at end of each day.• Maintenance checks of all areas ensuring cleanliness, pool water chemical tests, ordering supplies, timesheets completed for payroll.•Staff organisation on shift with tasks to be completed at a specific time and to a high level.• Squash league organiser and coordinator.• Conducting tours of the building for prospective new members and selling memberships.• Attendance of weekly management meetings• Dealing with customer queries/complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
