As a 35-year-old with a deep-rooted connection to my community, my life’s work is driven by a commitment to providing access and opportunities to others. Growing up in a city with its own unique challenges and strengths, I have always felt a profound connection to the people and places that shaped me. My unique perspective allows me to understand the students we aim to serve, driving my passion for making a difference in historically and traditionally neglected communities.Today, I am the Director of School Engagement and Program Delivery at Concentric Educational Solutions (CES). In this role, I oversee and support multiple school districts across eight states, including more than 40 schools in Maryland and partnerships in Texas, Alabama, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Michigan. My focus on evidence-based coaching aims to enhance educational outcomes and operational efficiencies across these diverse regions, impacting student achievement at a high level.Education has always been a cornerstone of my journey. I earned my degree from Morgan State University, where I developed strong skills in critical thinking, leadership, and cultural competency. This academic experience laid the foundation for my professional life and continues to influence my approach to education and community engagement.In the fall, I will be starting my studies at Fielding Graduate University to further my expertise in evidence-based coaching and its application in educational settings. This new chapter excites me as it will enable me to deepen my impact and continue to advocate for equity and access in education.My mission is to use my experiences and knowledge to drive successful change and create meaningful opportunities for those who need them most.
