Current

Continued to work as the Agile Product Owner for the Database Compliance stack for our enterprise-class database inventory system. Worked with Enterprise Governance and Oversight teams to provide evidence that security policies were fully and completed tested against all supported database platforms. Worked with DBAs to develop and implement testing methodologies for each policy in our automated tool.Acted as Lead Product Owner for our group, guiding other Product Owners to help them become more proficient in the role. Helped our team get stronger at writing effective user stories, manage road maps and story boards, and more efficiently bridge the communication gap between stakeholders and the development team. While in this role, our team was understaffed, which required me to also act as the sole developer for the Database Discovery and Compliance software clients, designing, writing, and implementing the code for our automated programs. While it was challenging to be in both the Product Owner and Developer role at one time, it also helped me to become better at writing effective user stories and efficiently manage our Jira backlog.Obtained my Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner certification in March, 2022.
