• Involved in the conversion and enhancement of NY site Wang online and batch COBOL programs to global site Wang COBOL 85.
• Analyzed programs and developed the logic needs to extract Wang-VSAM typed files and select which are for Oracle SQL table conversion and which are for Micro Focus file conversion.
• Involved in the refinement, compiling, and testing of the Micro Focus CICS and batch COBOL with Oracle embedded SQL.
• Involved in the analysis and creation of procedures test plans for end-of-day batch run that are to be used by quality testers.
• Created CICS and batch Micro Focus COBOL programs with Oracle embedded SQL that are not part of the conversion list but are needed for system enhancement.The project’s conversion was done on a Novell networked, IBM.
