Experienced drug safety scientist with a demonstrated history (8+ years) of working in drug discovery and development (Biotech and Pharma). - Small molecule and other modalities (E.g. ADCs, ASOs and Protacs).- Development of in vitro discovery safety strategies across specialties (Cardiovascular safety, DILI, Genotoxicity etc). - Experience utilising in silico (software and writing TSAs) and in vitro safety assessments to understand and mitigate potential on-target and chemotype driven liabilities. - Ability to work cross-functionally with biologists, computational scientists, DMPK experts and chemists on drug project teams, as the subject matter expert in toxicology. - Hands-on experience developing investigative in vitro toxicology assays and collaborating with CROs. - Keen interest in the advancement of physiologically relevant in vitro assays to aid the reduction and replacement of animals used in research.- Currently on the UK NC3Rs Project Grant Review panel (2021-).
