I directed daily hotel operations with direct accountability for revenue, profitability, guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. Specifically, I led all purchasing and payroll for the property, implemented and executed all operational strategies, and hired, trained and managed staff. In one year (2012 to 2013), our team delivered a 12.9% increase in guest satisfaction score for the property

I joined this family-owned (and, today, employee-owned) business, serving in a wide range of leadership capacities, including: Assistant GM, Sales Director, HR Manager, Executive Housekeeping Manager and Restaurant Manager (Georgie's Beachside Grill). This experience enabled me to gain invaluable, hands-on knowledge of the organization and hospitality industry.

As assistant GM, I oversaw all HR functions, staff training and development, and front desk procedures / guest satisfaction. While here, I standardized and streamlined the reservation process and oversaw a major hotel renovation.
