As a General Accounting Assurance Coordinator, I get to help incorporate process improvement into the many different practices involved within the General Accounting Department. Through the use of assessments, data analysis, and other testing methods, I identify areas ready for improvement and help in implementing those improvements.Before my time as an Assurance Coordinator, I was an undergrad student at BYU-Idaho studying finance. During my time at BYU-Idaho, I learned various practices within the Financial, Accounting, and Business worlds. This experience also taught me programs such Excel, Power-Bi, Tableau, VBA, and SQL. During my final year of college I was hired at INL as an accounting intern who helped with control testing within the Accounting Department.
