@Alcavi Free lance Journalist,Curator,Tour Director,Information Engineer,Cooking Instructor and Gardner.My technical background has found its natural evolution in my favorite application fields:Education,Tourism and Culture.I have written more than 90 articles on new technologies,new media and sustainable development issues.I report from my Tours to Italian radio station Radio3 RAI, and on American PBS I often take part to Rick Steve's Talks.I cooperate on different editorial, arts and web projects as Content Curator. I have taught Business Economics and Organizations at Naples Federico II University as contract professor.I previously taught for 7 years in public High Schools as an expert teacher on IT/languages related subjects.Since 2001 tour director for EF Tours,the world leading company for educational tours.In 2019 I started touring with Rick Steves.In the last three years started a series of cooking classes in USA (Massachusetts,Colorado,Washington), teaching the basics of the Mediterranean diet together with the fully integrated cooking tradition in Southern Italy and mediterranean cultures.Ten years experience, in the nineties, as free lance production coordinator in fashion shootings for different main brands (as Versace and Ralph Lauren) and Esquire magazine.In the last years started a Curatorial activity for different museums, galleries and cultural institutions. Recently curated an exhibit held in February 2019 in Paris at the Italian Cultural Institute and produced and curated the first installation of Stolpersteine in Naples, January 2020.Vice President of the Italian Committee of Information Engineers ( CIII ) for nine years till April 2015. I lived for long periods abroad (France,Spain,USA) and have today a second address in Berlin and a third in Athens.I fluently speak Italian,French,English and Spanish. Fair knowledge of Greek.Basic knowledge of German.
