Drive efforts to build a strong, engaged base that can be easily mobilized for advocacy and campaign work. Support the National Director of Organizing to develop and execute campaign plans and effective organizing tactics to achieve THL’s animal welfare policy goals.Recruit, train, develop, manage and provide leadership to regional and local Field Organizers. Work closely with the National Director of Organizing and other Field Organizing Managers to shape THL’s strategy for volunteer engagement.Track progress on goals to increase the size and engagement of THL’s network. Establish accountability systems in the field to ensure that campaign goals are met, including the implementation of debriefs and assessments.Work with the National Director of Organizing and Regional Organizing Management team to develop and streamline resources to support field campaign activity and training.Fulfill administrative responsibilities, including tracking income and expenses in line with the budget for your region, overseeing timekeeping for employees, reporting progress on goals, and maintaining records for future organizing efforts.Attend occasional activist events (at least a few per year) to “stay in the game” and deeply understand Field Organizers’ experience and needs.Potential to take on a specialization relevant to your strengths within the Regional Organizing Management team.Travel occasionally for biannual staff retreats, activist events, and regional activist trainings
