In my role as a Senior Associate at Acuity Knowledge Partners, I supported a US based L/S Hedge Fund client in covering Indian, Middle East, and US markets. My responsibilities included building and maintaining financial models, forecasting financials, and providing valuation views to the portfolio manager. I also conducted research and analysis on ad-hoc projects to support investment decisions.

• Built, maintained and updated company/industry models for an US based MNC brokerage firm covering India Technology, Media, and Telecom sector.• Contributed research ideas for thematic publications and conducted sector analysis for investment themes• Published analytical articles and research reports summarizing analysis and findings• Responded to client inquiries with respect to designated coverage areas

Roles and responsibilities includes below; • Building and updating financial models including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow using different valuation methods like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Relative Valuation, NPV, NAV, etc across multiple sectors • Preparing detailed initiating coverage report / information memorandum, reflecting in-depth understanding of the company • Write Quarterly reports covering quarterly results, company updates monthly covering major developments during the month • Portfolio maintenance including updation and monitoring of the client’s portfolio management spreadsheet • Work independently with client analysts to define concepts/ deliverables • Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions • Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and/or entire industries.

Assisting in preparing financial models for equity research, Preparing pitch book for fundraising for startups, Preparing adhoc Company report's and assisting in desktop research.

Responsible as a team leader for following;Handholding the transactionEvaluation of the option of transaction structuring and suggesting new options thereon.Analysis of the financial statements of various companies.Preparation of financial model, undertaking peer group analysis, assessing appropriateness of the model prepared vis--vis industry standards, selection of suitable valuation model, setting assumptions for the valuation, deriving the final valuation and preparation of valuation report.

- Follow up with Indirect tax team on recent amendment in GST law which will having impact of firm business.- Conducts regular meetings and interactions with the top tier of the management and offers financial advice.- Keeping Update on list office records of each entity so that GST registration number will be amendment accordingly.- Preparation and submission of Monthly Input GST tax return duly reconciled with electronic input registered and Cenvat ledgers.- Preparation and submission of GST refund applications on monthly basis for each GST registration number in case of Arrow entities.
