I'm a content strategist, cat mom, reader, banjo player, and snowboarder from the PNW. In a past life, I was a mechanical engineer with a specialization in aerospace--research, industry statistics, and analysis of that data are part of my DNA. In less than 365 days (at the age of 26), I made a drastic career change from design engineer to full-time staff writer for one of the coolest companies around. After a year of writing, I transitioned into a researcher role to better utilize my engineering and marketing skillsets. After that, I became our growth coordinator, obsessed with systems, workflows, and operations. Three years in, I became the head of transactional content, responsible for the strategic approach and quality of every brand review, comparison, "best of" list, and product-focused tutorial across all of our digital properties.Today, I provide various content services to B2B software providers and affiliate marketers in the space. When I'm not obsessing over content, you'll find me snowboarding, climbing a wall, painting, playing with legos, knitting, eating pizza and cake, or playing banjo with the coolest folks I know.
