I am an exam invigilator who supports candidates that are sitting accountancy, medical and pharmaceutical exams ranging from 100-250 candidates. My duties involve setting up the examination room which involves putting together the technical workspace including laptops and monitors. Before the exams start, I assist in registering the candidates, checking ID's, and directing them to the correct areas of the building. During the examinations I ensure that the candidates have the support they need by helping with any IT problems such as WiFi disconnections or equipment failures. Then after the exams I breakdown and pack away all the equipment at each work station in a neatly and organised manner.

In this role, I have worked under pressure to meet the fast-paced declines of busy shifts in a fast-food restaurant. I've demonstrated excellent communication skills and delivered high quality service by ensuring the customers were all served promptly and by meeting any needs to the best of my ability. Whilst working I have successfully assisted in running multiple busy shifts and made sure that everyone was working their hardest and checking orders were going out correctly. This job has allowed me to enhance my IT skills as I have co-ordinated the delivery systems and scheduled the orders to go on when they were required. As a result of this, I have had to converse with delivery drivers and supervise my colleagues to ensure it all ran smoothly. I also was awarded 'Star of the Week' twice because of my dedication to the job, and through picking up extra shifts.

My position included working in the theatre bars, the coffee shop and the virtual reality experience. In the bars I have experienced both busy, non-stop service periods and quiet times when the theatre has been dark. I managed to stay focused and productive during all variations of service, and I maintained a clean and ordered bar area, by constantly wiping down surfaces, loading and unloading the dishwasher, replenishing the fresh ingredients, and stocking the fridges with the correct number of drinks. In the coffee shop service was consistent and maintained a busy environment. I heightened my technological skills by working on a virtual reality experience, where I programmed the headsets to start the show, and fixed any problems during. This allowed me to experience a new way of payment by taking bookings on an iPad, and working with new technology. I worked with tills, an espresso machine, handling food, clearing tables and dishwashers.

My position at this job included working in different areas of the Mulberry Tree Restaurant. These were operating the Gelato Bar; which included serving ice creams and milkshakes, the Deli Counter; where I made sandwiches, served panini's and salads, the Hot Drinks Counter; which involved serving teas and barista coffees, and cakes. I also worked on the tills developing my quick numeracy skills, and cleared and re-laid the tables. Once I had succeeded in completing my own tasks, I helped other team members to finish their own.
