Did a Summer Research Program Internship in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash University. Worked closely alongside professors, graduate researchers and PhD students to develop and carry out my experimental method based on the topic that I selected - 'Project Title: Dynamic Covalent Assembly of Robust Proteomimetic Nanostructures'. Worked with analytical equipment such as NMR and HPLC and developed lab skills such as filtration, peptide synthesis, extraction and lab safety. Crticial thinking and problem solving were critical when the experiment did not go as expected to figure out how to proceed and this was done by consulting literature, asking other people in the lab or referencing theory and reaction mechanisms to see what could have happened.
