Assisted Senior Engineers in maintaining commercial production lines with a focus on the GE90 and CF6 engines. Completed research into non conformance reports from manufacturers to determine usability of parts that are no longer within print tolerances. Lead impact testing in a single skin cost reduction effort to determine the damage thresholds of a new possible outer skin material.

As a Co-op at GE Energy I assisted Mechanical Engineers with maintenance work on Gas and Steam Turbines at several different power companies like Duke and First Energy. I also organized information to be sent to customers regarding maintenance work that needed to be done on turbines and boilers.

At PMC, I converted old hand drawn 2D prints into 3D inventor to update drawings and complete revisions. I also assisted in researched purchased parts for the design of new machinery.
