I utilize my 5+ year knowledge to help build teams and place staff with students in a way that will make both parties thrive. I’ve assisted in developing procedures and tools to increase efficacy within our company as well as provide a trauma informed approach to both managing staff and working direct with students. I maintain a current RBT certification and often run direct sessions to increase my knowledge of the caseload I am scheduling and to provide support to staff when challenging behaviors targeted for reduction arise. I maintain a Safety Care Certification to assist with behaviors that can become potentially dangerous or life threatening to everyone involved. I also obtain and maintain a QMAP and GTube certification to administer medications to students when needed.

Implemented ABA practices designed by BCBA’s to create independence and further the education of both children with ASD, and the community’s knowledge of ASD and other disabilities.

Lifeguarded over patrons, and enforced safety rules. Created schedules for both lifeguards and swim instructors. Used conflict management to support staff members in their decisions they made on deck. Regularly cleaned the pool deck as well as maintained chemical balance sheets. Taught private swim lessons to members of the community (frequently children with ASD, and older community members).

I managed an outdoor pool with 25 lifeguards and swim aides under me. I created the schedule, dealt with daily cash flow, settled disputes between patrons and employees, and learned how to properly manage people who were both younger, older, and the same age as me without causing conflict.

I taught lessons to children, trained other employees and regularly cleaned the deck.
