I'm an English graduate from Ball State University. While looking for a career involved with my degree, I began substitute teaching. Because I found a passion for education during this time, I have decided to pursue my newfound dream of becoming an elementary education teacher. Though my career focus has shifted, I still plan on publishing a book one day.I uphold a deep passion for writing and reading, loving to create stories as well as hear others. I believe that every story has a purpose, and we must listen and learn from them. This is an idea I always bring into my life and will plan on bringing to my classroom.Through my experiences, I developed strong skills such as being able to create or follow set deadlines within schedules for short and long-term projects, gather varieties of research, and analyze as well as summarize information for discussions. I enjoy taking any opportunity that allows me to use these skills.
