About Caitlin Barlow

Educator with Master of Education, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and Special Education Credential (Mild to Moderate). I believe that all students deserve a committed and loving teacher. I support UDL and trauma-informed teaching. Empathy is necessary to be an effective teacher. IEPs exist for a reason - follow them.Prior to teaching, I attended Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and worked as a legal aid attorney. I also studied public policy at UC Berkeley. My combination of experiences has made me an advocate for equitable educational reform and progressive public policies. Vegetarian and wildlife advocate. Pursue photography and photojournalism on the side.
