● Support City Manager’s Office, Central Services Department, and city-wide communications by developing and implementing public information and outreach programs.● Write and edit press releases, web and print materials, video scripts, newsletters, and other communication pieces. ● Coordinate and support community outreach efforts including community events and public engagement. ● Manage social media presence and lead department-wide social media user group meetings.● Develop and maintain relationships with representatives from all local media outlets; regularly monitor media coverage.● Completed FEMA Advanced Public Information Officer training February 2018. ● Co-lead COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center PIO team March-July 2021; served as Deputy PIO in EOC March 2020-February 2021. ● Develop ads, flyers, and other marketing collateral for events, programs, and other CMO needs. ● Serve as backup to Web Analyst for updates to CMO and Public Information Team pages.

● Work with creative team to generate ideas and develop concepts for marketing materials and public relations using qualitative and quantitative data. ● Write and deliver press releases and media relations content. ● Coordinate and represent The Duck Store in media interviews.● Present marketing plans and updates to leadership team and managers.● Create guides for managers with pertinent information about promotions and campaigns.● Create plans for and manage The Duck Store's social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat.● Write and edit copy for The Duck Store’s website, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing collateral.● Write and edit blog posts about The Duck Store's initiatives, fans, and products.● Provide support for special events for UO students and the general public.

● Support Turell Group’s account managers and managing director on a wide range of client projects, including Market of Choice, Oregon Bach Festival, Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, and others. ● Conduct research for public relations, marketing, and social media campaigns. ● Manage client social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, and WordPress blogs.● Create monthly reports showing social media growth and effectiveness.● Write fact sheets and press releases for clients.● Create targeted media lists using CisionPoint. ● Provide photography for clients.

● Assist with the library’s marketing efforts in creating, preparing, maintaining, and posting content for the library’s social media presence, including blogs using WordPress and Drupal, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.● Provide support for special events for UO students as well as the general public.● Conduct interviews and prepare stories on areas of interest to student library users.● Update content in news block on library homepage and in event listings four times a week using Drupal.

● Support Verve’s account managers and managing director on client projects for: NEDCO, Tickled Pink Paper + Ink, Eclectic Products, Inc., Komen Oregon, Oregon Bach Festival, tugo, ZenSpot Hot Yoga, PeaceHealth Medical Group, Plantation Hale Suites Kauai Hotel.● Conduct research for public relations, marketing, and social media campaigns. ● Create targeted media lists using CisionPoint. ● Provide photography and videography for clients.

● Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email with complaints, payments, stops/restarts, and other questions in an efficient and friendly manner.● Complete, print, and file reports in their correct locations.● Find information about payments and other records on specialized database.● Transfer calls to correct departments.● Work 25-30 hours per week while attending college full-time.
