This includes overseeing our program vendor, general program admin, financial models, and collaborating with our partners at DPH and the Dept. of Education. I implemented a first in the nation expansion of services, expected to increase revenue by 30%. This involved strategic planning, adding new services and provider types to the program (including working with MMIS, data, claims ops teams). As Manager, Cross Agency Medicaid Programs, I manage and collaborate on several major MassHealth (Medicaid) programs and their financing mechanisms. I am an internal liaison between other teams and state agencies to maximize revenue and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and Medicaid Waivers. This includes working directly with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). I also worked with policy, programs, finance, data, operations, and other teams to implement Massachusetts' 2017-2022 1115 Waiver. This included, but was not limited to:DSRIP - Massachusetts has one of the first Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) programs in the country, which will contribute $1.8B over 5 years to support the Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Community Partners (CPs), and other initiatives aimed at bending the cost curve. I work very closely with the DSRIP team to ensure we are maximizing federal revenue and claiming federal dollars in accordance with our 1115 Waiver.Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services - MassHealth is expanding access to critical SUD services and I collaborate with MassHealth teams and the Dept. of Public Health to manage the cash flow and financing mechanisms that enable expansion of these lifesaving services.
