Provide education and support to both incoming and existing students at MCC. Work 1:1 with students regarding educational concerns, scheduling and advising, executive function skills, and other disability-related needs. Consult with faculty on student concerns and needs, as well as the college and Disability Support Services' policies and procedures. Conduct student intakes, and develop/ implement accommodation plans. Provide on-going outreach to the college community.

Provided a range of counseling and educational services including individual student counseling, group counseling, and family work. Created and lead a year-long classroom guidance curriculum, at both the elementary and middle school level. Worked with students towards goals in specific individual education plans, in a special education program for students with emotional/behavioral concerns. Determined appropriate social/behavioral IEP goals for students. Helped students and parents with transition to high school plans, as well as access for families to community resources. Responsibilities include leading group meetings, engaging students and spreading awareness. Providing resources for students, creating a safe environment, initiating and collaborating on programs including Speak Out Against Bullying, National Day of Silence, and Ally Week.
