The internet created a new connectivity and it has been my job for 14 years to bring that digital connection into the heartspace of our lives. Connecting the industries of the internet and the people who use them. Twitter was the brand new thing when I started in social media and branding. My first job in tech was copywriting and running social for a branding agency and beta testing software. I branched out with my own clients, smaller digital agencies with big clients, then landed at a women-owned small business, and now working with Meta on internal engagement and communications. One Down Dog, who I am still with today, allowed me to flex all my skills as a communicator, producer, creator, organizer, manager, and facilitator. Plus a yoga and meditation teacher! Detail oriented and organized - I have used my creativity & collaboration to build brands that have a heart and a community who connects to it. My current role at Meta uses the same small business and self employed skills I utilized for years - sustained engagement, ongoing education, and content curation for a variety of internal brands. Quickly learning new skills and technologies to become the expert and educating others. I spend my days using the newest technology and translating high tech information into language everyone can understand. Delivering information to some of Meta's biggest players while assuring the engineers behind collaboration technologies can focus on their work and get ample credit for it.
