• Created a Waste Management Project to drive sustainable impact at the local district High School through a data-driven waste profile displaying compost and recycling opportunities.• Partnered with educators to train high school students in waste management practices and audit protocols to mentor and assist in my project.• Audit results illustrate out of 258 lbs of waste collected, 82.5% of the “trash” is actually opportunity for potential recyclables including liquid, mixed recyclables, food, paper, 5-cent recyclables and cardboard. Only 17.5% is actually trash.

• Worked alongside professionals at the Haynie site, a 12th century Puebloan village in Montezuma County, Colorado• Excavated artifacts including pottery, a turquoise pendant, and human bone fragments for further lab analysis • Studied Native American tribe culture through the archaeological record: expanding the non-written history of Zuni, Navajo, and Ute tribes.
