My role as a BI Reporting Analyst is to support the MMSG Analysis and Reporting function in line with the overall corporate philosophy. Key components are:• Manage the entire lifecycle of report development and delivery across all level of management including UIT and UAT for new report development.• Work with my analyst peers and the key business areas to identify the data and trends required to support current and future reporting initiatives.• Assist in development and validation of various data models to support ongoing reporting across all MMSG companies.• Identify areas of improvement within reporting across various operating units through effective partnering with relevant business analysts and business SMEs.• Perform ad-hoc analysis, investigations and data management tasks as requested by business managers, and incorporate into regular reporting as required.• Document and maintain detailed archives of all analytic tasks, report development, data sources and related matters.

As a member of the Reporting & Fulfilment team I worked exclusively with the transformation of the reporting platform. As a team we were working toward aligning the many superannuation fund clients on to the one reporting platform. This involved engaging and working with business members to identify reporting requirements and negotiating the deliverables.My main involvement was moving the new and existing superannuation funds managed by Mercer on to a new Premium report template; Creation and maintenance of documentation was core to my role as was the timely response to business member questions regarding the existing Reporting Services reports.I was regularly involved in presenting Mercer’s reporting products and negotiating further business requirements per the objectives of the Reporting & Fulfilment team.

Under the supervision of the Reporting Team Leader, I carried out the following functions:- Produce complex Ad-hoc reporting requirements for the business (using SQL and AS400 Query Languages) – I successfully delivered ad hoc reports within 24 hours on 95% of occasions- Produce data extracts for Fund’s third party providers- Produce End of Month/Week reporting requirements for the business (including using Reporting Services) - Liaise with other business areas- Test strategy and planning- Document procedures- Contribute and adhere to mission statement of the team.

- Provision of support for business rules, processes and systems (see below) as appropriate, including: Development of queries; Issue logging and tracking; Investigation of faults; Query and reporting; Report writing; Analysis development and change to workflow; and Preparation of release notes.- Performance analysis in the context of support activities consistent with company standards and practices, including: Process mapping and procedure documentation; Specification and user acceptance testing of small faults, enhancements and changes.- Provision of maintenance and support of Objective EDMS including Ascent Capture configuration, maintenance and investigation and resolution of faults;- Provision of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access support for existing and proposed applications;- Communication: Participate in regular, professional and service-focussed communication with stakeholders and team members regarding issues and actions arising from support activities;

Under the supervision of a Senior Business Analyst I carried out the following functions:- Management of support requests specific to my areas of “expertise” (Excel, Word, Reflections Administration System and Objective EDMS);- Support and training of users in the implementation and ongoing operation of UniSuper’s first-ever Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Objective;- User Acceptance Testing;- Constructing Specification Documentation

During my first two years at UniSuper I gained experience in a number of areas and moved up from a Level 1 Data Processor to a Level 3 Member Services Consultant and Employer Services Consultant, conversing by phone, e-ail and written communication with employees of Australia’s higher education sector.

I worked as an Administration Manager for what was, at the time, the largest Hewlett Packard dealership in Australia (Centari Systems). I was in this full-time position for just over a year. My role included : Accounts Receivable, Order Processing, Back Order Communication, Returns Management and Reception Back-up

I worked as a Receptionist/Bookkeeper come Office Manager for a small business with one interstate office, Hevac Controls Pty Ltd. This position was full-time for more than two years and I gained experience in the following areas :Reception, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bookkeeping, Purchase Orders, Sales and Technical Support.
