Engaged effective relationships and partnerships to promote SYC School Leaver Employment Support (SLES). Participated in developing and implementing individual and group-based capacity building, job readiness and work experience.

I was responsible for fostering and maintaining positive partnerships with stakeholders, including government employment services representatives, RTO's, schools, community service providers and employers within the community. I assisted the manager in a staff leadership role and supervising the consultant teams to maximize performance. This involves the co-ordination of caseloads, induction of new staff, ongoing training/coaching and co-ordination of work tasks and responsibilities.

I assisted job seekers in identifying career direction, developing resumes, prepare for interviews and building job search skills. This also includes course selection, work experience placements and public transport training with the goal of securing employment. The role required me to identify different ways to communicate with and motivate job seekers. I liaised with employers, schools, RTO’s and other community organisations to locate opportunities to support job seekers. I assisted in building programs for youth to gain their learners license, increase social and confidence skills, along with independent living.I continued to work with management and our team to co-ordinate caseload and achieve targets, along with maintaining accurate records of activities and events through ESS and case notes.
