Starting a CA firm was as if, dream come true. However, it is absolutely different set of learnings starting as an Audit firm. NIIT, one of the leaders in the computer education space, for more than a decade & half, entrusted me with auditing the quality of deliverables at the franchisee outlets. It involved ensuring Financial,Operational, and Statutory Compliance for all the centers in North Region. I am proud we could stand by the integrity, ethics, and quality ethos of the NIIT brand. Parallel during the same time working with one of India's largest private sector banks for about a decade in the space of audit/ review of debt management/ Collection process. Over the period our scope of work expanded. This was also a different set of learning. The third sector that I was working on was retail brands like BATA, Me & Mom, Dlf retail, Arvind, etc. There have been frustrating moments. Those are the moments where I learned a lot. They say you should keep one leg in the known and the other in the unknown territory. But at the early stages of the career, it's often that both the legs are unknown.
