I am a creative individual with a passion for Film and Media, both from the perspective of a practitioner, and as an Educator. I have also had a great deal of experience in Communications and Event design/management in a Corporate environment.Since graduating from University of Lincolnshire & Humberside with a BA (Hons) in Media Production, I have enjoyed a varied career. I worked for the BBC on 'Dalziel & Pascoe', before starting at BT the following year. In eight years at BT I worked for the National Communications team, specialising in Audio-Visual Communications. I designed and built the Internal TV System that is used in all BT's Contact Centres and this was, at the time of launch, the most complex and versatile system of its kind in Europe.I left BT in 2005 to pursue a career in education. I spent four years teaching/lecturing in Colleges across South Yorkshire, in Media and Film related subjects and this was followed by three years with Doncaster South CLC, teaching Media and IT to students from Primary level through to HND.I completed my MA in Media Production in 2011, achieving a 'Distinction'. I have worked part-time as a Lecturer at University Centre Doncaster, and I also worked as an Independent filmmaker.
