I'm currently working as a Phlebotomist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and am looking for an RN position, hopefully within the Mayo Clinic Healthcare System. I've wanted to work in the medical field since my grandfather died when I was a child in order to help others live a life as long and healthy as possible. In pursuit of that goal I attended Bethel University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Then I applied for and was accepted into Viterbo University's Nursing program, but before entering the program I deferred my acceptance for a year to attend Phlebotomy classes at the Mayo School of Health Sciences. Afterwards, I obtained a Phlebotomy license and acquired a position as a Phlebotomist within the Mayo Clinic Rochester St. Mary's Hospital and Methodist Hospital. I then returned to Viterbo University to complete the nursing program and obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
