Worked as a military policeman on Camp Hansen Okinawa Japan. Was trained in defensive tactics, handcuffing and restraining techniques, as well as how to conduct traffic stops. Certified to use OC spray and also qualified with a service pistol and shotgun. Duties included vehicle and foot patrol, conducting security checks of secure building and responding to emergency calls as well as non emergency calls. Also held the billet of Desk Sergeant whose responsibilities included monitoring of security systems taking calls and dispatching units as well as keeping a log book both physically and digital.
