I am a Maintenance Mechanic at Woodard & Curran, a leading environmental engineering and consulting firm. I ensure the safety and efficiency of the waste water pretreatment plant, which serves a large industrial client. I have gained valuable skills in manual labor, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting, as well as working with a diverse and collaborative team. We have successfully completed several projects, such as installing new pumps, valves, and sensors, and improving the energy consumption and environmental compliance of the plant. I am also passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to real-world problems. That is why I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Cyber Security at Full Sail University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. I am learning about topics such as network security, encryption, cloud computing, and ethical hacking. My goal is to find a job opportunity that will allow me to use my IT/Cyber Security skills and knowledge, as well as my drive and work ethic from my maintenance mechanic experience, to contribute to a positive impact on society and the environment.
