Since starting work in May of 2020, I have been a reliable and consistent team member at my local Walmart. One who is counted on by my management team to get jobs done, answer difficult questions from customers, and even assist in the training of new team members. I embodied the values of the company so fully and truly, that I was able to go and be the sole store representative at the 2022 Shareholder's Meeting. Representing my store at a global level.In the Spring of 2022 when the world slowly returned to normalcy, I decided to apply to colleges to pursue higher education. I was happily accepted into Penn State and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a focus in Marketing.While on campus I am a highly engaged student. I was the Vice President of the Business Club of Penn State Wilkes-Barre for the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023, and going into the fall semester of 2023 I will be the Vice President of the campus's Student Government Association. While being engaged on campus, I did not slack on my academics, I sustained a 4.0 GPA for my first semester and a 3.79 GPA my spring semester.On campus I also have the privilege of working with other students as a Peer Tutor. I tutor fellow students in math and statistics. I also work closely with our Admissions team on campus meeting with prospective students and exhibiting college life to them.
