• Build automation solutions for OpenShift and RHEL interoperability test executionand reporting• Build and maintain tooling to enable test execution and reporting• Created and currently the maintainer of an open source tool used to find and reporttest failures and errors in Prow to Jira• Integrate OpenShift interoperability testing in OpenShift CI and Prow• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Python to test complexworkflows on multi-product stacks• Participate in the test planning and product planning processes• Come up with innovative ideas for testing and automating multi-product stacks• Document and advocate the resolution of new bugs with developers andcommunicate the impact on customers to developers and support• Participate in code reviews and provide input on code implementation• Constantly learn new technologies and apply them to enhance the existing testworkflows• Communicate with other globally distributed quality engineers and developersworking on various Red Hat’s offerings who are involved in customer use cases

In addition to the responsibilities described in the Automation Engineer I position:• Ability to create automation applications that use command line interfaces for applications such as MuleSoft and Informatica• Ability to create containerized solutions for cloud-native applications• Ability to maintain the general health and system integrity for SaaS platforms such as GitLab and MuleSoft• Determine the methods and procedures for new projects and coordinate activities with other members of the IT team• Develop and deliver the framework, scripts, and templates to automate common infrastructure provisioning tasks needed to support projects; including, but not limited to, account management, application installation and configuration, and environment validation
