• Oversees the recruitment function under the general direction of the Director, Human Resources.• Prepares and conducts recruitment efforts to attract and hire employees across the full discipline of clinical and nursing jobs, as well as clerical, administrative and professional level jobs. • Screens all applications and resumes for the appropriateness for job openings.• Conducts initial interviews and invites job candidates to department interviews.• Prepares department interview schedules and discusses interview results. • Prepares and finalizes offer sheets based on input from departments and the Director, Human Resources.• Generates and mails offer letters and establishes start dates. • Develops, communicates and supports retention initiatives while tracking key turnover metrics. • Provides assistance with the annual compensation plan review.• Ensures the continuous survey readiness of any and all regulatory agencies, including; Joint Commission, EEOC and other governmental agencies.• Provides assistance in establishing both short and long-term goals for the department.• Prepares and maintains Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting as required.• Prepares and maintains employee files, assuring accuracy, confidentially and compliance with all state and federal laws, rules and regulations relating to employment, unemployment claims, verifications, and I9 status. • Maintains Job Description database updated with revised or new job descriptions. • Conducts routine job description and evaluation audits to assure they are current. Gathers yearly statistics for Human Resources reports to the Board.• Assists employees in filing health, dental, life, and all other related and deferred benefit claims. • Ensures the continuous survey readiness of any and all regulatory agencies, including Joint Commission, EEOC and other governmental agencies.• Performs other related job duties as assigned
