With six years of experience with instructing students in a classroom setting, it is my goal to combine my work experience with my education to make a positive contribution to my community . I look forward to the wonderful opportunity to teach a diverse group of students with my highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods in order for them to be successful by attending a college of their choice. My goal is to one day achieve a masters in psychology and work with clinical therapy. Once I achieve this goal I want to study even further to obtain a PHD to look for more ways into helping others and also using my musical skills to make a positive contribution to the community. As a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at Greensboro College, I observed students and worked full time as a college and career adviser. In my current role with Guilford County Schools as an adviser, I provide the resources and tools available to help students become successful after highschool. I believe that my hands-on teaching experience with the ability to communicate with students and maintain a stable working environment will make me an ideal candidate for this role.
