As a child welfare worker and high school educator, I have come to realize the importance of combing my education and my empathy into a tool for good. Though my work in many different social service and educational systems, I have grown increasingly aware of the need of a systematic reform of our social systems. I truly believe that it is my mission to be a part of a systemic solution that focuses on empathy and empowerment rather than shame and guilt. Wherever my education and career takes me, this will always be my sole focus.
