Senior Product ManagerAffinitivAustin, Tx, Us -
Product DirectorAffinitiv Dec 2022 - PresentBuffalo Grove, Illinois, UsI currently manage 7 SaaS products in the automotive industry, as well as oversee the integrations for all products that our company provides. Due to this, I have an immense stakeholder base ranging from sales, OEM relationships, developers at our company, all the way down to the end users at our dealerships. With multiple roadmaps that extend out a few years this requires constant changes, constant communication and constant negotiating of these roadmaps.I am always working with the teams to ensure we are delivering on our promises, addressing any major issues that come up during and after a sprint, and keeping everyone on track with our defined roadmap items. For each of these products I also deal with requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and expected outcomes. A step above, I also manage the associated epics and projects so as to paint a transparent picture for all stakeholders to see. -
Product OwnerAffinitiv Jan 2021 - Dec 2022Buffalo Grove, Illinois, UsI own and manage the Jira projects, Epics and backlogs for 3 of our Service Suite products. This is for 2 of our scheduling products (AutoBook and TimeHighway) and our 1 multi-point inspection tool (MPI). I also act as consultant for 2 of our other service products – our service lane check-in tool (SmartLane), and our mobile applications for Messaging and MPII have stakeholders from internal sales, operations and external customers. I am continually going out into the field to better understand the needs of our clients by interacting face to face with our end users.I regularly work with our developers to ensure we are meeting the exact requirements as needed by our clients. I perform demos for our larger RFPs, for all of our products in the Service Suite, not just the ones I manage.I gather requirements from many sources within our company, as well as our clients directly. These are written out into User Stories with Acceptance Criteria and Expected Outcomes. Before changes are pushed to production, I have a meeting to demo our new features to gather feedback and to further ensure expectations are met.I do on-site training for brand new features, during our piloting phases, to ensure there are no hiccups or showstoppers before turning everything over to our Installs and Support teams for full rollouts.I maintain and coordinate all Scrum team meetings including Daily Stand Ups, Retrospectives and Sprint Planning.I have bi-weekly meetings with our Operations team. This focuses on any features or bugs that may not have been escalated to me but are urgent enough for be addressed outside our normal lines. On top of ensuring each product is still functioning as expected.I present the Roadmap for each of the products I own, on another bi-weekly call, so the whole product team is up-to-date on items being worked on, and what is coming down the pipeline. -
