I’m a natural creative and self learner who loves authentic and meaningful storytelling. I was heavily involved in music from a young age and settled comfortably into videography after moving to Nashville. From 2010 to 2018 I worked as a full-time videographer and photographer. My role continuously expanded to include interactive virtual tours, content strategy and managing a team of creative professionals. In 2018, I left my full time job to start Corpus Callosum Creative, a production company specializing in serving non-profits, NGO's and humanitarian groups.I prefer a natural documentary shooting style, less scripted and more authentic even if it’s a bit rough around the edges. I’m strong in interview skills and edit flow. I think the ability to put someone at ease in front of the camera is more valuable than the camera they’re in front of.As a curious self learner, I can drop down the rabbit hole pretty quickly into learning the ins and outs of a new technical skill but I always come back to the human element of my work. I volunteer my skills to an organization doing human trafficking work in Cambodia and that has been way more rewarding than learning AE scripting - though I still can’t stop myself from learning to trigger animations from MIDI signals.Core skills include: Filming, lighting, editing, motion graphics, HDR photography (not the terrible kind), astrophotograpy, timelapse, virtual tours, 360 video, AE scripting and drone piloting. However, I think my most valuable skill is the drive to continuously learn and challenge myself as a creative professional.
