− Worked with Eastman resources to create PI tags that used real time inventory data from SAP database. The new inventory data led to a rate trial experiment that changed production rates and improved product color, while achieving a greater understanding of how the process works. − Utilized and collaborated with Eastman recourses to coordinate sampling schedules to optimize the cycle time of a decanter. Worked with operators to take samples of the water layer and organic layer of the underflow to verify separation, leading to decreased batch process time of the decanter. − Built new and existing instrumentation into PI Asset Framework that led to the development and improvement of operator-centric PI Process Books for a $10 million expansion project. − Completed the SACHE process safety course leading to an increase in awareness and implementation of safe work and process safety practices.

− Conducted research of strategic raw materials using external and internal resources for the US Defense Logistics Agency. Created detailed data supply chains for the production and mining of strategic raw materials that allows the government to track production of all nuclear resources. − Worked with senior engineers and fellow interns to obtain data on the exclusive countries that mine rare earth metals. Published supply chains of each rare earth metal into mandatory reports apprising Congress on the impact of trade tariffs from a resource perspective. − Enhanced knowledge of nuclide radioactive decay by seeking mentorship from senior engineers.
