I started my career in 2015 as a surgical attendant in the operating Room at Huntsville Hospital for women and children. After one year of cleaning OR rooms, I made the transition to anesthesia where I worked as an anesthesia tech for 3.5 years. While in this position I was nominated for and was awarded employee of the month for the entire Huntsville Hospital system. I was later accepted and went through the Huntsville Hospital Surgical Technology program to become a scrub tech. Because of my prior experience inside the OR, I was able to finish the program at the top of my class on the classroom and clinical side. After completion of my Scrub tech training I spent the next 3.5 years back at Womens and Children’s scrubbing and assisting Foot and Ankle ortho, pediatric ortho, pediatric spine, pediatric general surgery, GYN surgery, Breast oncology, ENT oncology and Plastic/Reconstructive surgery. I now work as a sales representative and consultant for Foot and ankle implants, biologics, total ankle systems, patient specific Implant technology, and a handful of other products.
