During this time I did some freelance photography for the school newspaper at San Diego State called The Daily Aztec, where I was given the opportunity to shoot for the basketball and football teams. Here I learned how important it is to be in the right place at the right time when it comes to sport photography as well as to come prepared to fire away hundreds of pictures. I gained tons of experience through this opportunity and was able to take what I have learned about post production editing to get the pictures to look exactly how I wanted them to. Providing the journalism team with photos that truly captured the energy of the game, I was able to use the pictures I took to create different graphics in Adobe photoshop in order to help promote future games.
