I am an accomplished Java Full-Stack developer with the drive and capability to learn and improve continuously. I have professional experience in OOP development using the Spring Framework with Spring Boot, the React JS Library, and web deployment with AWS and Docker. I am an avid problem-solver motivated by a passion for understanding the mechanics and processes of the technologies I work with, and my deep-rooted analytic skills give me an edge in quickly grasping new concepts and applying them to my work in an Agile environment. One of my greatest strengths lies in debugging and resolving technical issues aided by my ability to read and understand documentation or code written by others. I put an emphasis on team building and push for clear and consistent communication between team members to ensure my team's overall efficiency and product quality.My love for technology and the sciences led me to study and get my degree in Physics with a Math minor. During my time in college, I learned I had a particular knack for Computer Science so I took up the field as a hobby. After college, I pursued software development as a career and proceeded to procure a position with Revature after some time. During my time with Revature, I further developed my skills with Java, React, and related web development technologies and took leadership positions such as SCRUM Master and Lead DevOps Engineer for multiple projects. I learned vital leadership and organization skills as the general manager of a movie theater branch and I continue to compound and build my skills in personal projects and self study.
